Company Background
The heart behind Xsport has been to offer children the opportunity to gain valuable life experience through sport. Thus, giving every child the chance to enjoy and improve their sports ability through quality coaching.
Xsport story began in May 2004, coaching football into a local primary school in Cobham.
Over the next few years Xsport developed after school programmes offering children the opportunity to improve and develop their skills in a number of different sports. During this time Xsport ran programmes in an increasing number of schools including working with a number of home school projects.
As well as the after schools programmes, Xsport has been helping communities and local authorities throughout Surrey and London to run courses, tournaments and sports clubs. We have advised and written a number of community bids and sponsorships helping local communities keep key community sports projects alive.
In 2008, Xsport started to write a number of personal development courses for local secondary schools. The courses were piloted into a few selected schools across Surrey and London. The success of the trials have meant Xsport are now looking to bring these successful courses into an increased number of secondary schools and colleges.
Currently Xsport are starting to look for specific permanent buildings or centres in which to run academies, teacher training and club development. The idea is that these centres will help to give children the best opportunity to reach their full potential.
